The club was formed in 1991 by people with the same interest. We welcome
all makes and models of four wheel drive vehicles. We are a four wheel drive
club with the occasional social activities. The clubs constitution will allow
a member and their spouse to have a vote in all club matters. The club by-laws
bans all firearms and illegal drugs on club outings and trips. We have one
day trips and weekend trips with overnight bush camping. The club tries to
have one trip per year of one week or more. We have regular training days
with vehicle recovery techniques and ladies only training days. We also do
bush cooking demonstrations and orienteering days. Children are always welcome
on club trips. Visitors are welcome to tag along on trips that are "C" grade
or under.
The club holds a general meeting every 2nd month at which all visitors
and guests are welcome. The first of which is the A.G.M. in August each year
and the December meeting being the Xmas party. The meetings are held at a
picnic area around west of Sydney.
We release a club magazine every meeting with a trip calendar on the
back page. Since the club was formed we have tried to make the magazine self
supporting by taking sponsors advertisements at which you can get club discounts
and technical assistance.
The club is a member of the Recreational Four Wheel Drive Association of N.S.W.
and supports all such Associations.
